rainy day fun

this is some documentation of the rain we get every afternoon between 3 and 4. its the kind of rain where if you are out for maybe 15 or 30 seconds, you are soaked all the way through, and I am not just saying that as an exaggeration - you really are completely soaked to the point where you have to wring out your cloths and there isn't a single dry spot on your body. it is intense!! This was from when eddie tracy and I got together to go play on tom sawyer's island
we decided to try and wait it out in the riverboat launch - just running from the stairwell near the haunted mansion to the launch (maybe 30 seconds, maybe..) we were completely drenched. I had brought my raincoat but the water was soaking through it it was so wet out.
and guess what side the river is on - this is less than five minutes after is started raining and there is that much water on the ground.

we were already so soaked that eddie decided to go for the photo opp


tracy had managed to stay dry while waiting for us on tom sawyer's island, so eddie decided to give her a huge welcome hug!
